Hey, all!
So I know there’s a Special Election in PA on 2/13, and I’ve been trying to find some ways for you to help. One of my subscribers asked specifically about phonebanking, since Postcards to Voters is apparently out of addresses, so I sent her to Turn PA Blue’s website. It turns out they’re the place to go! So if you want to help get out the vote for Jim Propopiak in HD 40 head over to their webiste and find many opportunities! They have phonebanking, canvassing and texting.
Why does this race matter? To quote from this Penn-Capital article:
The state House is tied at 101-101 between Democrats and Republicans, so the 140th race will tilt the balance.
“It’s a Bucks County race and Bucks County is the battleground of battlegrounds,” DLCC Communications Director Abhi Rahman told the Capital-Star. “Yes, it’s a ‘lean Democratic’ seat. But at the end of the day, you never know with special elections.”
So let’s do this, folks. Remember: EVERY Democratic win builds our momentum towards a win in November. Every voter engaged is a voter who’s easier to engage then. And every win is a morale builder for our existentially important effort to save democracy and the planet.
THANK YOU for all you will do.
Jess

Field Team 6 has a voter registration texting campaign for Prokopiak. It's BYOP, though, so training & setup needed if you haven't done this before. I'll be getting trained this Thursday. https://www.mobilize.us/ft6/event/405150/
