Hi, Team PA!
Hope you’re feeling much, much better than last time I wrote. What an exhilarating week, huh? I, for one, am feeling super optimistic about our chances in November. But that doesn’t mean it’ll happen by magic—we’ll have to work our a**es off for it.
Speaking of which, I’m sorry that the PA resource doc is so anemic—I’m finding myself to be almost impossibly busy right now, and I just don’t have the time to fill these docs out that I did in past cycles. The good news is that when I get back from vacation I am going to try to find an assistant, and then hopefully we’ll get all 12 state-specific documents more fleshed out ASAP.
For now, though, I have a hack:
Activate America, which runs postcarding and phonebanking campaigns across the country, is starting a state-by-state webinar series on Tuesday that’ll kick off with a deep dive on Pennsylvania and Ohio. They’ll review the landscape, challenges, and opportunities in these states and take a closer look at the strategies Activate America is deploying to help Democratic Congressional candidates—and everyone else—win there.
Both these states have critical Senate and House races, and Pennsylvania, as you know, is key to electing Kamala Harris.
Sign up for the webinar HERE. It’s Tuesday the 30th at 5PM PT / 8PM ET. The Activate America team is veteran and super politically savvy. I always learn a ton from them.
Also, friendly reminder that they have lots of addresses in PA and need postcarders! Sign up here.
Last thing: my Chop Wood Carry Statehouses Giving Circle, which is raising funds for AZ and PA state legislative races, is getting so close to its goal! We need to raise only 25K more to hit our 100K target. Know anyone looking for a good and super strategic place to give? A donation to this fund not only helps us win a U.S. Senate seat and the Presidency, BUT it helps us flip statehouses, which protects abortion rights, LGBTQ folks, the climate, and so much more! It’s a win, win, win! Donations can be made here.
OK, more soon all! Thanks for all you’re doing!
Jess
