A Fetterman event worth attending!
Hi, PA Peeps!
Happy Monday. I’ve got an event that’s going to be so good I wanted to tell you about it in advance so you can save the date. NOPE is one of my favorite grassroots, volunteer-run progressive organizations. Everything they do is great, and this event will be no exception.
Join them on September 8th to hear from John Fetterman about how he plans to win with PA “veggie tray” voters. You’ll also hear from some of my favorite PA grassroots groups’ leaders.
You’ve seen Mehmet Oz’s crudite video and Fetterman’s veggie tray response. It’s all very amusing and encouraging; better news is that Fetterman is leading the polls for flipping the PA Senate seat. But equally important is the power of Fetterman’s campaign to project an image of Democrats that suits the voters of PA, one that will help down-ballot state legislative candidates win.
The Supreme Court term made it overwhelmingly clear that the states are now where the action is on a host of issues like voting rights, gun safety, abortion, and democracy itself. In PA, the 2022 redistricting process unwound decades of targeted gerrymandering and gave Democrats a real shot at flipping the PA House. A strong Fetterman campaign will help make this possible.
Strong voter turnout for John will also help PA Democratic gubernatorial candidate Josh Shapiro and PA Democratic candidates for Congress. Win win win!
